An affiliate of Millwood Hospital, The Excel Center Willow Park is a short-term, outpatient treatment alternative in a less restrictive environment.

We offer partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for adolescents, Monday through Friday, in our freestanding outpatient facility.

Located in Willow Park, Texas, we serve patients from across the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. We offer complimentary assessments conducted by licensed clinicians on site Monday through Friday.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) – for Children and Adolescents

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at The Excel Center of Willow Park provides children and adolescents with structured group therapy and education, as well as weekly individual and family therapy sessions as needed.

Mental Health treatment is provided in an interdisciplinary manner, utilizing licensed therapists, a nurse and a physician. When determining treatment goals, the patient is considered a part of the team. A psychiatrist is the leader of the treatment team and oversees all aspects of treatment, including medication management.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – for Children and Adolescents

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at The Excel Center of Willow Park offers treatment for emotional and behavioral problems. This program is less intensive than partial hospitalization, but is more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy. It is designed to provide stabilization and resolution of immediate problem areas.

The family is involved in the treatment process, as we consider family participation to be a vital link in treatment and follow-up care.

Referring professionals are invited to collaborate on a patient with the treatment team. With the patient’s permission, these professionals are continually updated on the patient’s progress and the individual is referred back to the professional for continued follow-up care.

Prior to admission, we ask that you complete this Referral Card which will be kept in confidence.

Additionally, we ask that you bring all bottles of prescribed medications, proof of insurance, current photo ID, copy of birth certificate, social security card and any previous assessment materials.

Affordable transportation options available upon request.
Call us at 817-678-8808 and ask about how we can assist.
